Swipe to tip the whole board up, down, left or right. On a computer, use the
arrow keys. Every tile slides that way at once. When two tiles with the same
number squash into each other, they merge into one tile worth double. A new
tile drops in after every move.
Get to 2048 and you win. If the board fills up with nothing left to merge,
the game is over.

Why everything wobbles
The tiles aren't animations. Each one is a little ring of jelly, 16 particles
held together by springs, simulated hundreds of times a second. That's why
they lean on each other, squeeze through gaps, and sometimes merge in ways
you didn't plan. If you like that sort of thing, there's
a short write-up of how it works.
Jelly48 is free, has no ads and no account, and works offline once it has
loaded. To keep it on your phone, add it to your Home Screen.
Let go of a foil balloon and watch it float up. When two matching balloons
touch, they merge into the next one, all the way to 9. It's like Suika
turned upside down, with balloons that squeak.
Drop wobbly jelly shapes into a cup and squish matching ones together:
triangle to square, square to pentagon, and on up. When the pile gets
crowded, give it a shake.
